We wish to inform you that the European Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter referred to as G.D.P.R. (General Data Protection Regulation), effective in our country since May 25, 2018, provides, among other things, for the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of their personal data.
This regulation establishes that processing must adhere to principles of fairness, legality, transparency, and protection of your confidentiality and rights.
Therefore, pursuant to Article 13 of the G.D.P.R. and concerning the personal data you provided, we offer the following information:
1. Data Controller
The Data Controller is the Xaxado Association, located in Turin at Via Goffredo Mameli, 15 - 10152, email: forroditorino@gmail.com, represented by the acting President.
2. Purpose of Data Processing
2.1 - The personal data you provide during the completion of the membership form for our Association and the simultaneous enrollment with AICS (Associazione Italiana Cultura Sport), to which our Association is affiliated, will be processed to manage your membership as an association member. This includes the related accounting, administrative, fiscal management, and all matters relevant to and consequent to the establishment of the association relationship, including holding social positions, as governed by applicable laws and the Association’s statutes and regulations.
Additionally, your data will be processed for managing your enrollment with AICS, including the associated accounting, administrative, fiscal management, and all related matters according to the laws, statutes, and regulations of AICS.
Your data may also be used to send, via email, postal mail, SMS, or telephone (if provided), communications regarding the statutory and regulatory activities of our Association and AICS.
2.2 - Furthermore, only with your explicit, free, specific, informed, and unequivocal consent, the data you provide may also be processed for the following purposes:
a) Sending, via email, the periodic newsletter of our Association and AICS.
b) Sending, via email, promotional and/or informational material from our Association and AICS.
c) Sharing information about the Association's activities via platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.
3. Categories of Data
The processing involves personal data of a general nature and, in cases required by law, data falling under Article 9 of the G.D.P.R., specifically health-related data necessary for conducting sports activities. The processing will not include personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, genetic data, biometric data, sexual orientation, or life.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
The legal basis for processing, beyond the consent of the data subject when required, is constituted by legal obligations, including but not limited to Article 36 of the Civil Code, tax regulations concerning non-commercial entities, and sports activity laws, such as Article 90 of Law 289/2002 and subsequent amendments. Additionally, data may be provided to the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and related organizations as required by law.
5. Legitimate Interest
The processing is necessary to pursue the legitimate interest of the Data Controller to execute the association relationship properly under legislative, statutory, and regulatory norms and to inform members about the Association’s and AICS’s activities.
6. Obligation to Provide Data
Providing data is mandatory for achieving the Association’s purposes. Refusal to provide data will make it impossible to process the membership application or enrollment with AICS.
7. Data Processing Methods
Processing will occur:

Paper-based: Through membership forms stored securely.

Digital: Through software installed on computers within the Association, protected by technical and organizational measures.
8. Data Retention Period
Data will be retained for the duration of the membership/enrollment relationship and afterward as required by applicable laws.
9. Data Communication
Data may be shared with:

AICS and its regional/provincial committees for enrollment purposes.

10. Data Dissemination
Your data will not be disseminated.
